The different nonstick cookware sets may include different products with some having a roasting pan or griddle in addition to the other pots and pans. Professional sets with as many as eighteen or twenty pieces may include strainers, plastic utensils and additional covers.
These sets are sold as boxed items and are available in most major departments stores, specialty kitchen stores and online retailers. The sets are also available in a wide selection of colors and patterns when they have an enamel outer surface coating used on them.
The colors used in creating the nonstick cookware set will reflect the interior design colors popular at the time. Today these sets are available in black, cobalt blue and red. You can also find them in some eco-friendly designs that do not use PTFE/PFOA in the interior surface coating or petroleum in the outer enamel.
There are also optional pans with the nonstick surface you can purchase as separate items to add to your baking and cooking collection such as woks, saute pans and casserole dishes.
